Franci Kas (b. 2001) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Vienna,
Austria and Budapest, Hungary. She studies at the department of
Digital Art at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna.
Her main research interests are cyberfeminism, feminist science-
fiction and craft as artistic methodology. She enjoys creating
installations that immerse and embed the visitor in interactive ethereal / alien
worlds. Hand-knitting textiles, tinkering
with DIY, soft electronics, web-based point and click games and fermenting potions are
her loved craft processes.
Her current research explores non-linear storytelling, and being a girl online, distrupting fascist mythology in cyberspace.
